Queuing up

Another dull and windy day, trying to rain, but the birds are still busy on the feeders or, in the case of these two great tits, awaiting their turn.

This evening we are going out (two nights running for me!) to a performance called Shakespeare's Fool. It's a one-man show based on the life of Will Kempe - "one of the finest performers of the Elizabethan age until ... he fell out with Will 'git-face' Shakespeare". It's being held in a village hall*, a short drive from us.

*EDIT: We're now home. It was brilliant. But I feel so foolish. It wasn't held in a village hall in the village of Irnham; it was held in Irnham Hall - posh place - in the venue usually used for weddings. Literally my ignorance! (That said, the chairs were very uncomfortable!)

The actor, Robin Leetham, was excellent! Wind was battering all around throughout, but it didn't put him off. There was a tree down halfway across the road on the way home.
