Ephemeral

The day started with freezing fog and -11°C. The ice and snow in the garden crunched underfoot, and the cats declared the morning too cold to be outside, and quickly retreated to the living room.


Later in the morning, I went to the gym. When I got back at noon, we still had -6°C, but the fog finally started to lift and revealed a beautiful, frozen world. That’s when I took the photos in this blip and extra.


Now by early evening, it has warmed up to 1°C, and the ice crystals that had formed on the plants and fences are gone already.
