Bullfinch

I ventured out into the garden between rain showers to find a blip. This beautiful bullfinch was perched momentarily in my neighbour's tree. 
We've ordered some sturdier shelves for the garage so we spent yesterday clearing the old and very well used plastic ones. I posted 3 of them as free on the local facebook page and they had gone by teatime.
Today was devoted to painting the bare concrete block wall yellow, to match the other wall painted the year before last. Not my favourite job but it's a worthwhile improvement. The kitchen and dining room are currently host to many, many plastic boxes.
