All Change

After what felt like a too long and fairly frustrating Zoom meeting (imho, no meeting, especially on Zoom, and especially meetings about meetings, should last longer than an hour), a relief to get out into the beautiful day and walk into town to post a parcel and collect our post.

As I walked round the castle, saw that the town council workers are taking down the Christmas decorations, and replacing them with ones for by far Mourão's biggest event of the year - the festival for their patron saint, Our Lady of Light. These purple light flowers are new, and looks like there will be loads of them; they were installing arches all the way down the main street to hang them from.

Gratefuls:
- the water a lot higher in the Lake, presumably the Spanish dams further up are full
- crispy liver for lunch from the lamb our neighbour gave us, and Mike butchered
- Ju and Tom's boiler fixed
