Colour

An interrupted night's sleep as Storm Isha battered the house overnight, with gusts of wind approaching 70mph in this part of the world. It was far worse elsewhere, and we seem to have survived intact.

Still very windy today, but I needed to go into Holmfirth to post a parcel and to drop off my blood-pressure readings at the surgery. MrM came home from work early and opted to join me, so a there-and-back trip turned into there and back the long-way round, with tea and cake en route! Not much colour in the landscape on another grey, gloomy day, but quite liked the stone variations in this dry-stone wall.

Apparently Storm Jocelyn is approaching. Stay safe out there.
