Fort Amherst

A busy day of heritage watch meetings. Breakfast with my colleague K and a post Christmas catch up followed by coffee at the Dockyard to catch up with my filming manager and an ex castle colleague of ours who is doing wonders in marketing at the ‘yard.

Late morning we headed the 1/4 mile distance to Fort Amherst, a Napoleonic fort built to defend Chatham Dockyard in the 1700s. A fascinating place.

Early afternoon back at the Dockyard for a briefing on the conference for one of our sponsors. A productive day, shame it’s all voluntary work and not paid but useful for networking and picking up future work consulting on filming for the heritage sites.
