Covered Market

I decided to go for a tourist trip to Oxford. Only half an hour on the train from Banbury. I hadn't been for years and it was great to reacquaint myself with the city. Walking round the historic centre and stopping for a coffee in the covered market. The candy pink outlet gave some nice reflections through the window by my table.

Pressing on past New College where I used to go for an annual conference I came out by the Bodlean Library. Popped in to the History of Science museum. Lots of fascinating instruments from syringes to sextants.

Good to mix with the young Japanese (or perhaps Korean) tourists taking pictures of every angle (extra).
