Croak or caw

Another stormed passed by during the night and winds where still whipping about for our walk but the sun was out and the rain stayed away. Not much sign of wildlife though as they where still all hunkered down it seemed. I wish I was better and recognising birds in the open, I looked at getting an app for my phone but it's a few generations behind everyone else and doesn't want to work. I think this is a Rook. It was pretty tucked up against the wind but it took to flight after this shot and its profile made me think it was more Rook than Crow.
