Locking in

Took Sally to her pre operative assessment at Llandough hospital this afternoon. Whilst waiting, I drove to the nearby Penarth Marina and walked out onto the barrage in search of a blip for the W-I-D-E Wednesday challenge of “entrance/exit”. Obligingly a yacht turned up wanting to lock-in. This blip is the yacht entering one of the locks. There are three large locks on the barrage which have to cope with a tidal range of up to 15m (50feet) which is the second highest in the world, the largest being the Bay of Fundy in Canada.
