Australia Day

Apart from its historic and symbolic significance, Australia Day on 26 January is associated with the end of the long summer school holidays, and the prospect of cooler weather before too long. In Lennox Head, where summer holiday visitors have doubled the town's population numbers for a month, it means back-to-normal for us locals. We'll now return to the cafes and coffee shops we've largely avoided for the last month or so. 

This morning, before the heat of the day, Rana and I walked the 2 km Boulder Beach loop nearby. Photos in the collage, spiralling in from the top left, are:
