Stone Town. Adam and I pootled around for a couple of hours before we parted back to Nairobi and Dar es Salaam, respectively. I hope we can increase the frequency of seeing each other and that the next time will not be in 2029.

El Niño is still wreaking havoc with the weather in Tanzania. January here should be very hot and sunny, whereas it’s damp, overcast and about ten degrees cooler than I would expect. The Old Fort of Zanzibar was looking moody under the cloud.
