If you can't beat them...

Roosting Blue Tit

The spell of horrible wet weather has continued.  A busy day taking a load of things to the charity shop.  We brought things down from Kat's as she doesn't have a car to transport them.  The first charity shop wouldn't accept them, they weren't taking anything until they have cleared the Christmas things.  As far as I can see they will be stuck until next Christmas.  Fortunately just across the road was another charity shop, they were very pleased to take them.

We took the cameras out when dropping one of the cars in for MOT, it was so wet there was no point getting out to try.By way of an emergency blip I turned to the nestbox camera.  We have a Blue Tit roosting in there, much snugger than out on a tree branch I am sure.  Every night it arrives about 15 minutes before the camera changes over to Infra Red.  Then head tucked under its wing feathers fluffed up to keep the heat in and off to sleep it goes.  Mornings are the reverse, wake up, stretch a bit  and then off out about 10 minutes before the Infra Red goes off out it goes.
