Stinking Hellebore

A quiet day, which is exactly what I needed. The highlight of the afternoon was a walk to the supermarket for a few bits. I shall hopefully finish my book club novel this evening, which I’m rather enjoying.

I’ve never got close enough to sniff this green hellebore plant in the garden and see if it really does stink, and am very unlikely to do so any time soon.
