Winter Garden

I spent 35 minutes on hold to the council this morning, waiting to speak to someone about the fallen willow tree (see yesterday’s Blip). Eventually I got through to a nice lady called Amanda, and she is looking into who’s responsible for the piece of land it is on, as this isn’t abundantly clear. She asked me to email some photos to show where exactly the footpath is, which I’ve done. Now we’ll just have to wait and see.

This rose in the garden is rather tiny, but it is mid-winter so it’s quite surprising to see it at all.
