Sunset in Strichen

Spent a lovely afternoon wandering around the woodlands that surround Strichen Lake with my friend and fellow blipper Charlie17.  It was bright and sunny but there was a chill in the air and it was cold enough for a thin film of ice to have formed on the surface of the pond.

We chatted and took  photos along the way and then enjoyed coffees and treats in the café.  Both of us were very pleased with our choices of fancy pieces of Lemon Drizzle cake (Charlie) and Chocolate and Coconut Slice (me).  I was even more delighted with the bill!   What a bargain compared to the prices paid in the big city.

It was a most enjoyable afternoon.
