Writing Valentine’s

Found the perfect Valentine’s card for my American beau J. If only an ocean didn’t separate us. Will send in a few days.

Valentine’s Day 2017 was the day we met. Three months together then the past seven years apart. J still messages me most weeks with photos from Maryland and the Blue Mountains of Virginia, sometimes pics of old aircraft in museums. J promises to return to England one day… if only. Never mind a single gal has to have at least one crush.

Found a card to send my friend “Lady P”. She’s in the process of filing divorce after her husband cheated on her during the 18 months she was undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery for breast cancer all while raising a toddler. Figured a card from Jason Mamoa might raise a smile!

Swam indoors this evening and had a good chat to fellow swimmer T about how the swims change our mood no matter what the day has brought. So true.
