Emergency blip

I didn’t take any pictures all day so here is one of my parents in front of my computer screen and a picture I took this autumn in Baltimore. It is an old toy so parts are discolored, don’t look too close. 

I read an article that pointed out a good thing:  when someone does horrendous things to you it is understandable if you lose your mind and take revenge. Ukraine is still following the rules of law. They aren’t deliberately attacking medical facilities. They aren’t attacking apartment complexes. They are attacking military targets and infrastructure that supports Russia’s military. 

European Pravda reports that some of the drone assistance Prime Minister Sunak promised Ukraine will be in helping Ukraine to manufacture drones. It is odd how hard it was to find that reported. 

Lviv has removed 312 Soviet-era monuments and has become the first area in Ukraine to be Soviet-era monument free. 

Transparency International has a Corruption Perception Index. Ukraine improved by 12 spots in 2023. Ukraine focused on reforming its justice system.  

Newsweek says there are reports that Russia bombed the Russian city of Belgorod twice in one day.
