Vivid……

Dahlias are beautiful flowers. My house-sitter friend left a bunch of them in a vase on the table. They are a vivid shade of red with touches of white….. very unusual. Sue had grown them in her garden. My mother used to grow lots in our family garden many years ago. All different shapes and colours. Quite stunning. I get the impression that they have become very fashionable in recent times. A feast for the eyes.
