A Day In The Life

Chip Ahoy

The tree service we hired last fall was onsite today cutting and removing two boxelder trees damaged by earlier wind storms. They apologized for it taking so long but they’ve had a busy fall and winter removing trees from people’s rooftops, buildings and vehicles. We’re very fortunate ours was not a priority • The trees were located on the left down a steep banking. It was fascinating watching the trees be pulled up and fed through the chipper. Three arborists completed the job in a little over an hour • An impressive operation • It was cold too, only 10F when they showed up at 8am. Just before they left a few dear deer gathered near the tree line, surprised to find activity in our driveway. As soon as the three trucks pulled out a line of nine dear deer raced through the snow across the road to the other side. By nightfall they’ll return this way for the all-you-can-eat buffet :) • Peace & Love
