Ringed Plover

It turned out to be a gorgeous evening after a rather iffy day, so I went for a walk along the Galson shore. I love these little birds - Trilleachan Traghad, they are called in Gaelic - the beach plover, although most plovers are found not far from a beach! I took several photos of groups of them, but always at least one was out of focus - I haven't learned to master the depth of focus on this lens yet - so I think this one on his own is the best of the evening.
