Scissorhands

Another quiet day….word games and Duolingo over tea in bed, brunch (but the pancakes turned out disappointingly rubbery) and some web surfing for a potential 40th birthday present for H in a couple of months. Chatted to O who’d been camping last night and arrived for some breakfast smelling of campfires before heading back to his canal boat home.
We decided we needed some exercise so went for a walk, beginning by exploring the roadworks nearby as they begin pushing a new road through the nearby fields….this won’t be the edge of MK for long.
Later after supper we went to see Edward Scissorhands the ballet at MK theatre. Sure we’ve seen it before but we can’t remember when. Aside from the irritation that audiences can’t sit through a live performance without munching popcorn or crisps we loved it….so much going on on the stage and such clever choreography beautifully danced. More traditional curtain call photo in extras.
Afterwards we popped into T’s club to see him and have a look at the place when it’s open….good to see him ‘at home’.
Back for a cup of tea before bed….
