The Edge of the Wold

Snowdrops and beck

It felt like a Spring day today. The snowdrops are in fill bloom now, and the edge of the beck is lined with flowering lesser celandines. This patch of snowdrops is of a variety with particularly large flowers.

Yesterday Farmer A and I had a trip to Rosedale to pick up sills for the house using Eduardo’s trailer, and today he delivered them to us using the fork lift. This was one of the main reasons we moved back to C’s home village - the proximity and support of a loving family.

A good day.

ps Somehow this was initially uploaded for the wrong day (Sunday 4th Feb), I don’t know how that happened. It was taken on Saturday 3rd February, and I’ve now amended the date accordingly. Sunday 4th is a very different day weather-wise.
