Long-tailed Tits

We had had a flurry of long-tailed tits to the feeders but, I had missed them. I had been asleep on the settee while The Man was getting his shots.

Luckily the hoard of hungry little birds came back and gave me enough time to get my long lens on. All birds are beautiful (well, except for newly-hatched coots) but these must surely be Britain's prettiest.

There! That is my activity over for the day. A day of doing absolutely nothing useful apart from serving a meal and pouring 2 whiskies.
