Snowshoes Crunch Conversation

When you go for a walk in snowshoes, you do the sensible thing of going down a snow scooter track whenever you can. What you can't do is have a conversation at the same time because the crunch from the icy tracks is so loud. It does give you a good excuse to have regular stops, especially useful for those of us with muscles not used to this sort of movement.
