A gap in the clouds

Wet in the Lakes (and really windy) again, so we took a trip over to St Bees, where there was much less wind, and even a small gap in the clouds, albeit over the Isle of Man. We did try a walk over St Bees head towards the lighthouse, but there the winds picked up, and Deb was worried about developing a migraine, so we popped back to the beach, and took some shots of the late afternoon Sun.

We did drop into the tea room to get two take-away lattes (oat milk, single shot) and as we got back in the car and tasted them, they were so strong, and unbelievably bitter, they were dropped pretty untouched in the nearest bin. A shame, because the last ones we had there were really good.
