Kitty therapy

Our friend Mark, an artist, lost his beloved cat Mocha on Mothers Day in 2022, at the grand old age of 21 years old.

Coming to terms with the void, Mark had heard of ‘100 day’ projects, where a single task is repeated over 100 days, and as an artist he thought this would be a nice way to remember Mocha, and started doodling a feline face every day.

Time has passed and his 100 drawings became an exhibition (raising money for charity) and have now been turned into a wonderful book, which includes a charity donation to Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home.

It’s a lovely book, which helped him and his family through the trauma of loss, and they now have adopted from the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, two lovely adorable kittens, who have stolen their hearts.

I have attached a link to Mark’s Edinburgh Sketcher website, if you are looking for further information.

As you can see, another very old lady, Emmy, is checking out Mark’s book.

Have a good Monday, all.
