Aging daffodil

Unlike tulips, daffodils don't look elegant in decay, just sad.

W, having felt under the weather for several days, spent today on his bed, dozing and relaxing.  As "chief cook" he's slacking - I need to venture into the kitchen shortly and rustle something up.

Joe (pond), having assured us on Friday that Monday was not a Public Holiday, just a Holy Day, emailed yesterday evening admitting he'd been wrong.  So he hasn't been today, and has just emailed to say he won't be here tomorrow as it's forecast rain.

Oh well, at least Wednesday looks to be set fair, according to Met Eirrean.
