The gear is here

Happy days.  My christmas-present-to-myself HEMA gear arrvied today after a good six weeks of waiting.  Looking forward to trying it out in class on Wednesday.  Also going to investigate painting the mask becasue you have to.  Plan is to paint it to look like Mok from the Malazan book of the fallen, though that may be unwise given the level of skills differential between myself and tha character.  Sometimes when you're nerding out though, you've just got to embrace the full nerd.
