Bud

I noticed the tiny red female flowers are emerging on our contorted hazel bush. The red bit in the photo is about one mm across. Very tiny indeed.
TinyTuesday,  something special. This is a special bush to me , simply because I like its twisty knobbly branches, it has pretty catkins too and produces nuts, but we never get to eat those because the local squirrels take them all.
