Tiny Tuesday - Keepsake

I inherited this little enamel trinket box from my father. He was the youngest of a family of eight children and as such was the one to sort out their inheritance and wills as they gradually died before him.  I am not sure exactly which relative he inherited this from but I was very pleased to inherit it myself as I feel the enamel paintwork is rather fine. Sadly its use throughout my life has been somewhat more prosaic as it has been the container where all the buttons, which have fallen off over the years from my clothing, were stored - most of them never to be reattached.
