Wide Wed - Wide Open - Paddock with Crystal Ball

This is my very first attempt to do a landscape with the photographic crystal ball which my son bought for my birthday present. I was using a wide angle lens with maximum depth of field  (f22) but still was not able to get the ball and the background in focus This is a view of the paddock at the back of our house on a clear sunny winter afternoon. I must check out the internet for advice when using the crystal ball in photography
