Hovering behind the heather

Sir Percival Pheasant paid us a lengthy visit again today. He spent a long time picking around in the plants below the birds' feeding station, hoping to find dropped seeds. Occasionally he lifted his head above the parapet heather. Afterwards, he plodded up the squelchy lawn (more moss than grass) and rooted around another flower bed. (See my Extra.) Makes a change from songbirds.

Like yesterday, it's not stopped raining all day, the wet stuff, drenching even when it's drizzling. I'll give Mr PP a ride to Lidl this afternoon, and he can do some walking along the aisles and then wait in the car if need be. We don't have much to get either way.

Have a lovely weekend, blipmates.
