Can you dig it

Another bulletin from the nearby roadworks. A digger has now appeared. There was no one working on site when I took a look this afternoon - the road has been flooded for the last two days - but at least the digger will stop idiot drivers who think road closed signs don't apply to them. It looked like someone had tried, though, before finding the digger blocking their way as two sets of barriers had been taken apart. So, once again I found myself putting them back in place. In the meantime,  the odd car (and coach!) aside, it's very pleasant not to have a constant flow of traffic on the road outside.
