Home again

After a two-hour flight delay in Barbados we had a very bumpy ride home on the Dreamliner, Boeing 787. This aircraft is noted for the extra oxygen pumped into the cabin so you arrive after a long haul flight with little jetlag.
 
Unfortunately, it can’t smooth out the jet stream and we were on the edge of it for most of the journey home across the Atlantic, quite scary at times. (There was one medical emergency on board and the request went out “Is there a doctor on board? If so, could you please come forward.” There was no doctor.)
 
Finally, one last word on the Caribbean -climate change and Covid. We saw communities ravaged by both.
