Loch Glascarnoch

We left our overnight accommodation this morning and headed towards Ullapool.  The rain slowly eased and the temperatures began to fall as we approached Aviemore and there was snow on the tops of the mountains around us.  We continued on our route but stopped near the Blackwater Falls at Silverbridge for some photography of the fast moving water, see extra.  Next stop was at the side of Loch Glascarnoch.

By now our petrol levels were getting low so we called in at Ullapool for petrol and a quick drive around before finding our nearby accommodation.  We are staying in a very large house which with very good accommodation and provisions.  It was good to meet up with our 9 fellow members of the camera club and we had a shared evening meal together.  We have all been given rotas for cooking and cleaning up afterwards.  We were on the cleaning up one this evening.
