Morning sun on stone

This is actually a fence post, the fence being made of these rough stone pillars and the rope threaded through them. It surrounds a Chinese garden on the campus, which won an award a few years back. After the show where it won the award (for some of our Mancunian students if I remember correctly), it was offered a permanent home in Cheshire. It's been looking a bit bedraggled over the winter, but is beginning to look a bit more like itself now, so may well have more than one of its fence posts blipped eventually!

Anyway, spotted this on my walk from the car park first thing this morning and shot it quickly, so I've had to sharpen it a tad as the focus wasn't quite on (or it was my shaky hands).
