High tide

It was lovely and calm when I arrived but then the tide turns and starts thundering back down the Solway Firth.
Meanwhile, the oven has broken down, fortunately the rings still work on the top so all is not lost there, but a jar of red pesto fell over on one of the fridge door shelves, the gingery red oil dribbled down through two shelves and various parts of the door inside so cleaning up the mess was a bit of a carry on.  To compensate for this mess I made some ice cream and it is now in the freezer.
