Gardening

Mr RIU and I went out for breakfast after his gaming character was killed first thing and potentially, I was told, spoiled his day.  I observed the delighted faces of the family that regulary stand outside my house 'collecting' a pokemon.  I don't share a love of gaming or understand how what is, to me, 'just a game' can invoke such feelings. 
We visited Pa and there was lots of standing water after the heavy rain that came down overnight.
I expected more rain but although the sky visibly and dramatically darkened at one point, it never came.   My neighbour, like me, was doing a bit if gardening.
