Helau!

It's Rosenmontag here - lots of madness going on across the Rhein in Mainz.  Something for younger folk and old hands.  Way too mad for me.

Doctor's appointment this morning - weirdly, the city centre was empty - ditto the buses.  And then the huge surprise - an empty waiting room at the practice.  Normally on Monday morning it would be full.  Suppose that people felt that a day drinking in Mainz was a much idea than seeing the doctor.

No bad news from the doctor which was good.  Getting home was ok too.  The whole thing was only 3 hours.
