Tower Bridge

For a birthday present last year Annie bought me a tour around Tower Bridge in London including a special visit to the behind the scenes workings. Annie would have joined me but had to make unplanned visit to Cambridge for a family medical emergency. The trip was great, taking us to the top part of the bridge (blip is the view into one of the towers, first extra is the view out from there) and then deep down below water level to look at all the workings of the lifting bridge sections (see a couple of extras). It was fascinating with a great guide and lots of facts to keep us interested for over 2.5 hours. 

I'd driven in to park at Shepherds Bush and having got back to the car, it was a relatively easy drive down to Sutton for an afternoon and evening with Immy and Ollie before driving home.
