A Tangle of Florets…..

……..a hydrangea in the late evening sun. It used to be pretty shades of pink. It is a particularly nice hybrid. I may be wrong but I think the series is called “You and Me Together”. Anyway it is displaying its amazing array of autumn colours.
A fine sunny day…. I managed some gardening. One garden plot has sprouted a thick, lush crop of oxalis. It is such a pest of a weed. I have been carefully digging it out, with its little cluster of corm-like bulbs on each plant’s roots. Then I dispose of them in the rubbish bin which is plastic bag lined. It is quite satisfying work.
