A humble house sparrow

Walking along a footpath I came to a spot where I often see a large flock of house sparrows, and this time I heard them too. There was a cacophony of excited chatter from the bush they flitted in and out of. In front of me a woman had thrown down a few bits of bread which attracted this (female, I think) to have a feed.

As I approached it didn't fly away, but just stood waiting alertly. I had to grab a photo as I never ever see them in our garden, although I do find them very endearing. So today I am blipping a sparrow for the first time!
