Mae pawb yn chwarae eu rhan ~ Everyone plays their part

“Nature is slow, but sure; she works no faster than need be; she is the tortoise that wins the race by her perseverance.”
― Henry David Thoreau

Blwyddyn Newydd Dda! Heddiw yw'r diwrnod cyntaf Blwyddyn y Ddraig Bren.

Yn draddodiadol mae'n ddiwrnod i fwyta Momos (llawer o Momos).  Tra roedd pobl yn paratoi Momos ac yn eu coginio, roedd y gweddill ohonom yn gweithio ar y tir.  Dyma Samten yn dangos i Roddy sut i ddefnyddio llif polyn. Yn y cefndir yw Khandro Déchen, un o'n athrawon, oedd tynnu chwyn.

Erbyn y noson, roedd gyda ni i gyd archwaeth dda am Momos

Happy New Year! Today is the first day of the Year of the Wood Dragon.

Traditionally it is a day to eat Momos (lots of Momos). While people were preparing Momos and cooking them, the rest of us were working on the land. This is Samten showing Roddy how to use a pole saw. In the background is Khandro Déchen, one of our teachers, who was pulling weeds.

By the evening, we all had a good appetite for Momos
