Early morning at the beach

I was comfortable in my pajamas on the deck of our motel room early this morning (daybreak -- we've both wakened very early every morning this weekend, what's up with that??). I loved the almost-pink, almost-blue light on the beach and in the sky. Shortly after this, it began to rain - a misty, soaking chilly rain - so there was more comfort to be had snuggling with my sweeties.

We're already back home, it seemed like such a short getaway. Ah well, at least we got away and both had good rest. There was lots of time for naps to make up for the early wake ups!
