The Lozarithm Lens

Castlefields Park (Wednesday 14th February 2024)

A useful stone. It was quite Springlike today with the snowdrops sharing space with crocuses and daffodils. I'm still waiting for the forsythias in my garden to show signs of life, but by the canal in Calne they are already out.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Cocteau Twins - Bluebeard (1993)
Many have followed in the wake of the Cocteaus trying to emulate their magic, but none has come close and many still try. Impossibly, it is exactly thirty years since the single Bluebeard was released (on 14 February 1994) and was bought by me the following day from Rival Records in Bath. I already had it on the album Four-Calendar Café  but wanted the three extra tracks (including an acoustic Bluebeard) on the CD single. The video adds to the atmosphere, too.
