Still Life With Beatles (Sunday 11 February 2024)

More technical problems today. The detachable flash on my LX100M2 has stopped working. All my card readers are playing up, unless it is the PC software at fault. This was taken without flash because of glare, but with some Serious Readers side lighting on the kitchen table. I also experimented with the 4K stills function on the LX100M2 but found that the MP4 files it produced were not compatible with my processing software, and indeed crashed the computer.

I did visit the new Morrisons Daily today. They don't stock the bread I was after but I may be able to order it in on a one-off basis. They are probably as well stocked as Calne's little Tesco Express but are much nearer home for me, although unfortunately too small a branch to have a freezer.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Beatles - I Saw Her Standing There (Takes 6-8 - incomplete,Take 9)  (recorded 11 February 1963, Abbey Road Studio 2)
The Please Please Me album was almost entirely recorded on this one day, 61 years ago to the day, including I Saw Her Standing There, with its famous "1-2-3-4" intro, which was actually taken from Take 9 and spliced on to the Master Take, which turned out to be Take One.
