Oilers Versus Flames

Mitch and I drove up with Steve and his friend Scott to Calgary for the Edmonton vs. Calgary game. We met up with a few of Steve's other friends and grabbed a bite at a nice Vietnamese place before heading to the game. There was a mix of fans from both cities at the game and surrounding us. At the start of the game when Calgary was up 2-0 the Calgary fans were loud and obnoxious, answering the Edmonton's chant of "Let's Go Oilers" with "Oilers Suck". The chanting slowed as the score crept towards the eventual 8-2 for the Oilers. The Calgarians didn't seem to think Edmonton sucked then! It was an exciting game but by the end it was just embarrassing for Calgary. Definitely still enjoyed it though!
