Overcast

I'm not feeling 100% today. My bones are aching as are my muscles. It feels like the early stage of a cold. My chest feels like it's full of gunk and I've been coughing a lot. My nose, thankfully, hasn't been blocked up, but I've definitely been feeling a bit sniffy.. The cough feels like it's at its worst when I'm lying down, so falling asleep is extremely difficult. I haven't had the energy to do an awful lot today.

Little Man went round to one of his friends this morning for a play date. I have been trying to make sure he gets the chance to socialise with other boys his own age. Several of his friends have older brothers, which has meant that they've got the competition that has stimulated their development. Since Little Man is an only child, spending time with other boys his age has been an extreme help. I'd credit the leaps and bounds in his development over five months to the amount of time he's been spending with his friends since we moved to the Netherlands.
