Pirates

A flying visit today to The Big Smoke to see daughter#1 and the grandsons. SIL was working.

We went by train for the first time for ages. We like to go from Oxford Parkway as although it is a bit further to drive than Kingham there are trains both ways every 30 minutes. It all went very smoothly, everything bang on time and seats both ways.

Rory has largely recovered now from his recent breathing episode which almost landed him in hospital again, though he still has a week of antibiotics to go. He is back to his old energetic self and took us on a long walk in Hyde Park to The Diana Memorial Playground where there is a super pirate ship. Rory is in the main blip, Joe (who is hard to pin down for a photo) in the first extra. We easily got our 10k steps in.

A couple of touristy shots in the other extras - Sherlock's house and the clock outside Paddington where the little man inside spends all day erasing the clock hands and redrawing them. I love it.
