Still life

My view this morning as I settle down in the sofa with my cup of coffee and some sewing.. a perfect way to end the week. 
Pleased to say my gut issues have calmed down and tentatively of the weekend I will return to a normal mixed and varied diet (fingers crossed) 
I finished my sashiko sample quilt last night and when I get the time will pop a picture on here.. I am very pleased with the results and it will keep as a reminder of how to do the stitches as well as work as a small throw.
Jasper is very pleased that it is sunny out and she is happily on bird table duty keeping the squirrel at bay.. although.. to be fair I think she is pretty scared of the ones here they are almost as big as her!!!!
